EURO 2021 carries on and we have now reached a stage where some of these teams really need to start getting points to keep the dream of a playoff-spot alive and well. One of those teams is Denmark, who suffered during some horrific circumstances in their game against Finland.
The game will be played at Parken in Copenhagen – a massive boost for the danish dynamite. We will either see a danish team suffering the consequences of losing their starplayer Christian Eriksen – or a fully focused side wanting to win in his honour. I lean towards the latter – I think Denmark has a great chance to get something from this game.
Apart from what happened against Finland, the danish team had over 20 goal attempts and looked very dangerous up until the 44th minute. The chance of this game ending 1-1 is rather large in my opinion and predicting a belgian-golazo is not a shock – but I strongly believe Denmark will score as well. Belgium looks dangerous up front, but their backline consists of a lot of old, washed up has-beens – they will not keep a clean sheet here.
