Finally – the big game is upon us. England take on their old rivals Germany in Wembley Stadium (London) with 40-50K fans in attendance – let’s freaking gooooo!
First off, I have not been impressed with England at all. Together with Finland and Hungary they have created the least amount of chances in the tournament. That is so crazy considering their attacking options are Grealish, Sterling, Saka, Rashford, Kane, Mount, Foden, Sancho and so on.
England are expected to play FIVE at the back today to defend against the germans, they have played four at the back for the other games in the tournament. This means one less option in the attacking and will very likely lead to even less chances being created.
Germany on the other hand, have looked super impressive in one of their games (Portugal) and then they kinda looked all right in their other ones. If Germany shows up here, they will smash England. If they don’t, I still think they can get a 0-0 or 1-1 and end this on penalties (great record on that).
Germany have a crazy good squad and a lot more experience from going far in tournaments. England will have home field advantage, but I have no idea why the english are favored by the bookies here.
The bet will be: Germany To Qualify @ 2.10 on Expekt.
Five reasons why I like this bet:
- Germany should be favorites
- Odds is too high on Germany
- Germany have been more impressive in my eyes
- England does not get their best out of their attacking talent
- History – Germany have a great record against the english
Germany To Qualify @ odds 2.10 on Expekt.
