It is time for the playoffs in EURO 2021 and I have found a great bet for the Italy-Austria clash in Wembley, London. The very impressive italian side takes on Fraco Foda’s Austria in the round of sixteens at 21:00 CET on Saturday evening.
Italy has by far been the team in this tournament who has looked the best. Seven goals scored and zero goals conceded against three opponents who are similar to Austria in their capabilities – this leads me to think this game will look about the same as the group games did.
First off, Italy was able to rest the whole team in their last game, giving them a lot of fresh energy coming into this one. Austria on the other hand, they had to play for their tournament life in the last game against Ukraine and I think a lot of energy was expended in that one, for sure.
Italy has not conceded a single goal in 11 games. They have also managed to win by at least two goals in 10 of their last 11 games. All things pointing towards this bet looking fantastic. We have also seen an italian side that keeps going and going even after scoring, something that has not been a typical style for them historically.
